((California... home at last.))

((Six-years ago today their patriarch fell from grace. To many Matthew Lee has become little more then a singular interview given on the eve of the inaugural fall from grace, and the founder of The Fatal Charms. Yet, his accomplishments and accolades both in and out of the ring go far beyond that. And for the three men gathered before us he's the only reason they had careers.))

(("So who's this Kindred guy I've been hearing about?"))

((The past is the past and now they can't even remember what they were fighting about or if it even really mattered. Once a Charm always a Charm, and they'll always come running home when they're called. Or when they're needed.))

(("No one... just some delusional asshole."))

((The conversation over an early dinner was focused mainly on Matthew Lee and fond memories. His passing had come too soon for all of them, and for Kyle Lee it had been a devastating loss. Not only had he lost his uncle, but he'd lost a mentor. What Gold and Blue had learned from him through the course of their careers, Kyle never would. And though both Blue and Gold were vastly more talented then Matthew Lee had ever been, it was still to him they turned for guidance when things didn't seem quite so perfect.))

(("The same delusional asshole that did that to your face?"))

((But there were more smiles and laughter that evening then there were frowns and words of regret. For what Matthew Lee had accomplished in his lengthy career was worth remembering in a fond light, and what he accomplished on October 5th, 1997 was legendary. It was The Fall. It was the only one that really mattered. It created a community and gave birth to two careers that shaped the course of that community. It was his swan dive and it was his moment of vindication.))

(("One in the same I'm afraid."))

((And then it was over. Their bane had been vanquished and the reason for The Fatal Charms to be... suddenly no longer applied. It began to mean nothing. Just a name attached to some faces who didn't even have the smallest inkling what it was all about. And Matthew Lee sat and watched, and did nothing until his prodigal son returned. And then what they were started to matter again. Started to mean something again.))

(("Planning on doing anything about that?"))

((Everything. Every single victory, loss, scar, bead of sweat, and drop of blood was in tribute to him. Their patriarch who forged the name and gave them The Fall that gave them their careers. He took them as far as he could with his talent and then gave them the ability to take it even further with theirs.))

(("I mean... don't forget who's name you're carrying around."))

((It's been four-years now since Drake completed the circle started nine-years ago, and still we continue to pay tribute to a man that never fought a single match in our community. Misery... we miss you.))

(("Yeah, don't worry... I'm working on it."))

(('night...))
